Banda de Los Angeles, California, formada pelos integrantes Karen Lawrence e Desautels em 1977. Em 1978, lançam seu primeiro álbum somente auto-intitulado sob a produção de Jack Douglas, o mesmo produtor dos primeiros álbuns do Aerosmith. Em 1979, após o lançamento de seu segundo álbum, "Please Stand By", os integrantes Steve Schiff e Bill Rhodes são substituidos respectivamente por Rick Armand e Terry Linvill, além de contarem com o tecladista Jim Alcivar (ex-Gamma). Entretanto, mais uma vez sem obter êxito comercial, a banda se dissolve e Karen decidi seguir em carreira solo com a banda Karen Lawrence & The Pinz. onde seu primeiro álbum seria lançado pela RCA em 1981, também sob a produção de Jack Douglas. Ao contrário de seus trabalhos com o 1994, a cantora acaba flertando mais com o new wave. Em 1986, atuando apenas como cantora de estúdio e fazendo parceria com nomes como Cheap Trick, Rod Stewart e Jeff Beck, Karen Lawrence acaba voltando a sua carreira solo juntamente com o ex-1994 Steve Schiff, lançado o álbum "Rip and Tear", onde ela retorna aos tempos do 1994. Em 1997, em parceria com o ex-guitarrista do Aerosmith Rick Dufay, montam um projeto de blues chamado "Blue by Nature", continuando na ativa até hoje.

From Los Angeles, CA, formed in 1977 by the members Karen Lawrence and John Desautels. In 1978, they release their first full-lenght album only selftitled produced by Aerosmith's producer Jack Douglas.

In 1979, after their second album release "Please Stand By", Steve Schiff and Bill Rhodes are replaced respectively by Rick Armand and Terry Linvill. However, one more time with no commercial success, they decide to disband and Karen follow a solo carrer with her own band Karen Lawrence and The Pinz, releasing their debut album in 1981 by the label RCA, also produced by Jack Douglas.

In 1986, in partnership with ex-1994 guitarist Steve Schiff, she releases the album "Rip and Tear", returning to her 1994's days. In 1997, she founds a blues project with the ex-Aerosmith guitarist Rick Dufay, being in activity recently.

Originalmente formada na Filadélfia, Pensilvânia, a banda passa a aderir ao NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal), ao se mudarem para o Reino Unido, lançando este single, em 1979, em parceria com o ex-baixista do The Animals e ex-produtor do The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Chas Chandler. Entretanto, o Horsepower somente lança seu primeiro álbum oficial, "Stocked!", ao voltarem para a Filadélfia.

A banda conta ainda com o guitarrista Mike Kennedy, ex-integrante da lendária banda de Hard Rock de Chicago, Rock Island, que também já tocou com alguns grandes nomes do rock como John Entwistle e Keith Moon (The Who) e Eric Burdon (The Animals).

Originally formed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, they became adopted as part of the NWOBHM when they moved to UK, releasing this single, in 1979, with the ex-bassist from The Animals and ex-producer from The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Chas Chandler. However, they only released a full-lenght album, "Stocked!", when they moved back to Philadelphia.

Guitarist Mike Kennedy hed previously been a member of the Chicago's legendary Hard Rock band, Rock Island, also worked as a session guitarist with John Entwistle and Keith Moon (The Who) and Eric Burdon (The Animals)

Formado em 1972, pelos ex-integrantes do Detroit Jim McCarthy e Johnny Bandajek, o Rocket somente teve uma relativa fama em sua terra natal, não conseguindo uma significativa projeção nacional. Entretanto, a banda garantiu pelo menos dois hits; "Oh Well!" (que na verdade é um cover da banda britânica Fleetwood Mac) e "Turn Up The Radio". Inicialmente no The Amboy Dukes, o vocalista David Gilbert entra para a banda em 1976, a pedido de Bandajek. Porém, assim como no Amboy, graças ao seus constantes envolvimentos com álcoolismo e drogas, David começa a causar problemas dentro da banda, mas, mesmo assim, ele consegue permanecer no Rockets até a sua dissolução em 1983.

Durante toda a sua trajetória, foram lançados seis álbuns sem muita repercussão comercial; Love Transfusion (1977), Rockets (1979), No Ballads (1980), Back Talk (1981), Rock And Roll (1982) e Live Rockets (1983).

Formed in 1972, by the ex-Detroit members Jim McCarthy and Johnny Badanjek, Rocket only obtained a relative fame in your hometown. However, at least the band guaranteed two radio hits; "Oh Well!" (a cover from Fleetwood Mac) and "Turn Up The Radio". Initially on Ted Nugent's Amboy Dukes, the vocalist David Gilbert join the band in 1976, by the Bandajek request. However, as on Amboy Dukes, due to his frequent envolvements with alcoholism and heavy drugs, David begins to cause internal conflicts inside the band until your dissolution in 1983.

During all of your trajectory, the band released six albums without many commercial repercussion; Love Transfusion (1977), Rockets (1979), No Ballads (1980), Back Talk (1981), Rock And Roll (1982) and Live Rockets (1983).
